A nv4500 can be bought from profab that will do the same thing as far dialing in the gears though. I respectfully disagree on the cost of a 3.0. I don't doubt that it could be spent though.

Payout is a completely different issue in my mind. Especially when ODL really doesn't cost much more than a top of line 1ton drive train. And again if you don't want it or need it you don't have to buy it.

I agree Jerry. Exactly my point. I'd like to buy a drive line and never need to replace anything again. I'm fine with HP limiting rules. But open drive line is not one of them.

Not joking at all. Open drive line doesn't make any more power than 1 ton parts. Easier and cheaper to maintain. When mine goes back together it will not be with 1 ton parts.
