I don't think a class basically comprised of trucks under 1000hp would ever need open drive line. Sure open doesn't make more power, but the whole concept will put off prospecting pullers. There has to be some hp limiting rules in place.
For now, I don't either(although a nationally recognized class such as ppl 2.6 would be nice one day). The existing single turbo, oem driveline, etc. sounds good to me. Just wanted to make sure before new parts are acquired.
