Awarding rain out points

In the 6400 Pro Street class, we will award 49 points to each puller/truck that has signed up and is on the grounds and is ready to pull IF the pull is cancelled by the weather or any other problem that may cause this class not able to be pulled.
All other points classes will receive 25 points.
If a puller is able to get on the track under it own power and hooks to the sled and makes an attempt to pull will get last place points and money. If puller is in the pits and has a breakage and is unable to get onto the track under it own power will get 25 points.
If there is a rain date set prior to the pull starting, a puller will only get points for that day of the event. So, if a pull is cancelled on sat. night and a rain date is set, the puller will on get points on the day of the event. If that date is cancelled the puller will only get a total of 49 points.
If there is a two day event scheduled, we will handle it like two different pulls.

This is how we are doing the points for each of our classes. There is a question why we give points and do not do the payout. The only time this was done was to the fact that the promoter was doing this because of the rainouts they have had. Wanted to give the pullers something for their travels. Not all promoters do this.
