    What a great pull. Over 100 hooks for the night. Looks to be close to 2700 people at the pull and I hope they enjoyed the night. The Appomattox Young Farmers have worked very hard to have a fine smooth event. I really enjoy a pull when the crowd gets into it. It makes my job a little easier. 
    Nothing stands out more than the pull off in the 8050 RWB diesels. The track was set to be a close 330 foot mark without getting into the end of the track. Cory ran a 344 and we set the pulloff at 340. Chrissy ran a 345. Then it was the battle of the two. Take away the Ford vs Dodge all together. It was a battle of the sexes, man vs woman. Cory Omps has been known to have the Real Deal of a truck and some come out to run for the top spot. But in Farmville, things can change and it did. Chrissy Martin with her new setup this year with her truck. It came down to Cory pulling a 309.54 in the pulloff. Chrissy up next to pull a 312.20 and take home a win. Not all the times you have a back to back pull as smooth as your first pass. Sometimes the pressure and the over thinking you tend to mess up on your second hook. I did not see that in both trucks in the pulloff. Both had a run that look as good as the first.
