  As the story goes, sometime during that day it will rain in Fredericksburg. I don't think I have been to Fredericksburg when it did not rain, some said it did not rain during the May pull.

  Great crowd this year and having a larger seating area sure helped.

  Started out with the 12 Hot Farm class. 11 total in the class. Missing the sled setting for the first three to end up with only one full pull in the class. Bill Catlett placing first on the IH 1466 with the only full pull. I think the track fooled the pullers as it did for HotRod for the first three pulled. Had some with the speed deamon on there mind. Billy Rice placed second and still with a commanding lead in the points. Robert Riley on the John Deere was third and Bill Balderson fourth with the IH.

   

  Only 8 in the 6400 Pro Stock 4x4 class. Two heavy hitters not there this year, but were they just afraid of the hometown puller. What ever it was, Gerry has learned the feel of the truck and placed him on the top spot. King of the Hill, thats what. Don't come and play in his sandbox and think it will be given to you. Just saying what he said. Thats all. Gerry laid down a 309.49 at 24.1 on the speed. Two trucks later Jerry Smith laid down a 309.44 at 23.1 on the speed. A little to the right was loose and the Ole goat fell into it. Eric on the Crazed Obsession placed third after a three pull rest. Big and Nasty with a new power plant looked good and sounded powerful. Grey placed fourth with Frankie Parker fifth. Haymaker closes the gap on Seldom Seen from a 12 point lead to a 2 point difference. Drop the Madison hook which each puller got 25 points, Kevin still has the advantage of a 2 point lead. It will be close, if ends up a tie breaker we will count the wins and so on. Gerry has 4 wins and Kevin has none.

   

  10 in the 10 Super Pro Farm with two in a pulloff. First hook was Chad on Recap This with a 320.99 run. Watching the second tractor pull with a 314.20 and the sled was set. Eight tractors pulled and no one break out to join Chad until the last puller. Clayton Sweeney hooked and just placed the Barnstormer out the gate with a 322.72. Right at the 24 mph speed. Not sure but it might have played a part to this, Team Sweeney coming back with all hot parts with no time to have a cool down time. It showed in the pulloff. The sled setting stayed the same with Chad at the 314.11 and Clayton at 308.58. Bill Catlett placed third and Brad's tractor driven by Thurman fourth and EL fifth. Chad moved up the tape with a 16 point lead over second place EL

  17 truck in the 6200 open. Great class. Hope to see more of this in the furture. William Woolridge on the Down "N" Dirty was right. Pull a 346 distance with Melissa Argenbright placing second with Still Grumpy and Show Time  either third and fourth.

  That was some fine pulling last night. I was on the way and drove thru rain and my wife told me I was crazy and pull was going to be rained out. To beat it all I had to pay to get a seat on top of all that. Best $2 spent. Looks like the red truck might turn things around afterall.  Do they have beer trucks at all of the pulls.

  Lol i also spent $2 to sit in the bleachers and i was almost to the top. Had to keep getn up all the time tho so people could go up and down. But it was cool one good lookn girl rubd her top up against me so it was it was worth it lol. Her mom seemed funny to lol. Hope she see this and get in touch with me.
