We still need guests. And what is up truck ppes? The tractor guests have you down 8 to 3. If you are interested in being called into the show, call/text me at 703-626-4131. Most calls last about 20-25. I think recent winners, upcoming promoters, and legends all have a great opportunity to help us grow pulling in the region, country and world. We have had fans tune in from New Zealand, Germany, and Australia. The number of watchers was 4K, 5K, 5K, 6K,7K, and 3. Well, it is growing big time, until I couldn't get anybody on several weeks ago.

I am looking at Tommy Henley, Jerry Smith, Aaron Smothers, Clayton Sours, and Rebecca Brizendine. The world is starving for good pullers who simply share their story. I took a call after the show and the person said it was one of the easiest shows to listen to.

Promoters, feel free to let me know you want to be called in as well. I talk about pulls I am promoting and going to, but if you want a few minutes to pump your pull, there is an eager audience.

Let me know ASAP, so I can get you lined up and get some questions to you!

We have partnered up with Beer Money Pulling to grow the sport any way we can. We started doing a live show on Facebook Wednesdays at 8PM/7CT. We have gotten great feedback and each week is better than the last. Tonight's show we have the Haymaker, Gerry Young and the Barnstormer Clayton Sweeney. I have had a call about businesses sponsoring on the show. The cost of sponsorship for a single episode is $50 bucks. That will include a plug at the beginning of the episode and rotating banners throughout. If you or someone you know is interested, let me know. We have a packet of information with deals as well as demographics to help you know what audience you could be targeting. We could also use some guest co-hosts. And we will be shooting some of this on location.

The partnership with Beer Money also gives me another avenue to promote your pull. We are offering video teasers for $100 bucks with pullers from each classes either picked by you or me. PM/Call/Text 703-626-4131. The one I did for the Virginia Power Pull reached 18K people and was shared over 100 times. So if you want that service or traditional marketing (flyers, posters, and banners) just let me know.

Lastly, Temple said he thought it would be a good idea to interview drivers at events. I like the idea of doing that during a pull but only if it works. It cannot hold the show up. But if you want to be interviewed after a good run or a winning run, come see me. I could have something set up to interview you as you pull off the track and talk to you as the packers are going up and down the track. It is simple, "[Puller Name], good run?" and then you chime in with, "I think the Dodge Dakota King Cab XLT sponsored by X, Y, and Z laid down a fine run. Lot of good iron back there. I hope it holds up!" Done. At the end of the class, at Millers Tavern John Nicol will interview you. At other tracks I will try to. But the idea here is to connect you to your fans. If you have thoughts or opinions, let me know. John Nicol just called as I posted. He had a great idea. We do like a walk through in the pits. And then we film giving a speech as if you had won. Or would record in on a slant. Like record your winning speech the next pull. Good, let's here them ideas.

2017 Altered Farm Class

We have been doing some homework over the past couple days working on a set of rules for the Altered farm class. We have decided to go with a "Box Turbo Rule" We have a turbo manufacturer who has agreed to supply these turbos to us at a reasonable price and will have them labeled and numbered with a tamper resistant nut on the compressor wheel. The turbo being supplied will be a S-300 Borg Warner with a billet thrust bearing installed and a 2.4 inlet. By buying these turbos in bulk we are able to get them for $600 with shipping. Any tampering with one of these turbos after it has been installed and issued to the competitor will result in a one year suspension from the class. You must run one of these turbos to run in the class. (no exceptions)

Rules

Engine Limitations

- 466 ci with 2% allowance

- Turbo must be the S-300 box turbo purchased through Dragon Motorsports

- Intake hose on Turbo must be easily removable for inspection purposes

-Injection pump will be limited to nothing bigger than a A-pump

- NO Water Injection allowed

- NO Intercoolers allowed

-Exhaust must exit at least 18"above the hood and have two 3/8 bolts the pipe forming a cross to prevent parts from exiting the exhaust.

-Must have a metal shroud around fan

-Must run a steel flywheel. No cast flywheels allowed

- No side shields allowed

Tire and Wheel Limitations

- 20.8 x 38 or a 18.4 x 42 will be the maximum size tire allowed

- NO type of cut tires allowed

- NO aluminum wheels allowed

Chassis and Hitch

-Maximum hitch height will be 20"

-Minimum of 18" from center of rear to hitch point

Required Safety Equipment

-Wheelie bars, must have 5x5 inch pad, no more than 10 inches from the ground (must be 3 inches back from farthest point of rear tire to front of the pad)

-A working air shut off must be installed to connect to the sled

-All Tractors must be equipped with a fire extinguisher

-All tractors will be subject to be teched at any event

General Rules

- 18 mph speed limit with No Grace. ( 18.1 will be disqualified)

6200 National FWD Purse Increase

The 6200 National Fwd Purse will increase this season to $3000 and pay back 12 places. We did this because at some of the bigger events when there were 15 to 20 trucks, a lot of pullers went home without a check.We have only been paying 8 spots back in the past. The payouts at the top will not change much, will just will add more spots at the bottom.

Bosch National Chassis Kit for Sale

I've got a Bosch chassis kit for sale. I purchased it brand new from Dan Bosch last year. Drove to Michigan and picked it up myself. Its the same as the Midnight Raider truck. I call it a kit because it needs to be assembled and finish welding completed. The frame rails are all tacked together. The rest of the parts are loose. Everything is included to complete the chassis (minus hardware). Hitch parts, frame rails, radius arms, front springs, front bumps stops, front spring preloads, rear axle locating bars, gussets, tabs, its all there. This is a mild steel DOM chassis.

My plan was to take his chassis, and combine it with my ideas and go from there..... I've decided to go another route and just don't need the parts sitting around.

Field Day of the Past Pull Info

FIELD DAY OF THE PAST

PULLING TRACK INFO

Come in off of 64 and turn into field for PULLER PARKING.

There you will be directed to the puller parking area.

Registration for the night pull pullers will be in puller parking area.

It is important to register ASAP during registration times because we need to have time

to move from the field to the pits.

Friday Night Registration is from 4:30PM~6:30PM in the puller parking area.

Saturday Night Registration is from 3:30PM~5:30PM in the puller parking area.

During those times the following will be done

Purchase admission tickets to the show

Pulling Registration

Gator pit passes

Pit Passes (per pulling vehicle)

No alcohol is allowed on any Field Day of the Past Property. (Coolers will be checked)

No one is allowed in the pit without the current armband.

No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the pit. (Unless pulling staff authorizes)

Everyone entering pits and/or Annex must sign liability waiver.

Once the tractor pull is over, all tractor pullers must move from the pit.
