Eleven total in the 62 Nat. class. Three in the pulloff, Taz, Footloose and One More Time. Both times the Taz Terror II showed a commanding pull. That truck likes to hook to the Bushwacker. Right about 2 miles per hour on his run over Footloose.

 The 10 Super Pro Farm was the first hook of the night. 7 pullers in the class. Chad on the first hook and turned his pull down to have Clayton on the second hook. A reset on the sled made Clayton Sweeney on the Barnstormer the lucky dog for the night. Clayton did not lay down a winning run by no means. A little hop, is not the word for it, a Big hop and out of the throttle was the best. The setting was a little tight with a 270 range and that made Bill Catlett up next to be the test puller. I was sure that Sweeney was going to come back and get in the transmission by one gear setting less, but no, he came back and pulled the same gear with a much force at the starting line. Breaking the tires loose on the line gave Team Sweeney the chance to gain some ground on Adam Richie on the Ford 9600 that was in the lead from the second hook after the reset. Well, it worked for the ole boy and Clayton ends up with his first win with DMP in the pro farm class. Richie second, Nesselrodt third, Catlett fourth and Shandy Turner in fifth then Harlow then Tanner. 

In the 6400 Pro Stock 4x4 was no stranger to the winners circle. Eric Ritenour on the Crazed Obsession ford flat put 11 feet on the field of trucks. Great run for Eric, like he has done so many times before. By this time you could see the track at the starting line start its decline on the conditions. The low spot as always was getting to worse. Eric was the seventh hook to have two tuff trucks to follow in the class. Ole Goat driven by Captain Smith turned his run into the third spot for the night. Seldom Seen moves up to second after turning down his first hook from a 304 to a 310 distance. Scottie Neil on the fourth and Gray rounding out the top five. 

The 7800 Light Pro Stocks Smokers was Paul Schrock on the IH 1066 to have his fourth win for the season. Both Paul and Ed have worked to be up in the top three in the class and has been the points leader for the last couple of pulls. Ricky Tavenner on the Case IH has placed second on every hook since Madison and it will be soon for his win also. Team Cox on the Demo Deere having a starter problen or so not being to hook after his first attempt places him on the fifth place. Team Collier third and Steve Flint fourth. 

The last class for the night was the 6200 National 4x4. 5 trucks in the class with one having trouble in the pits and not able to pull. First hook was Bryan Cubbage on the Bounty Hunter. Bryan laid down a keeper of a 303.95 to second guess his self to turn it down. He gave up the winning pull right then, but we all know that now and thats pulling. It  was not in the Chevys favor for the night that the Fords claim a win in  both truck classes. Wyatt Sours, the points leader pulled a 302.32 to drive out John Dugan on the Damage Plan ford to second with his 302.31 distance. Thats right. It is not a miss print. Just one hundreds of an inch. In some countrys that is as good as a foot. In pulling, that's second place. Aaron Smothers on the Money Hog to be third, Cubbage fourth and Woody Campbell fifth. 

As I mention at the start of the pull, we ask that you say a prayer for Woody's grand daughter as she recovers from an injury just this week. Katherine, 11 years old, received and injury while work was being done to her pulling truck. We ask our Lord for a steady and smooth recovery for Katherine.

Started off with the 6400 Pro Stocks. 10 trucks in the class with Gerry Young on the Haymaker on the first hook. After the sled reset Kevin Schools which won the night before ran a run of a 290.91 to which placed him fourth. As the sled kept going up and down the track and an early number was not good. Remember this was the first class and you will have this happen a time or to. As it worked out the best was for the last puller. Gray on the Big and Nasty came up to place a 295.50 pull. Two trucks later was the winner hooking to the sled which happened to be the last hook for Randy Brann on the Sandblaster. Randy ran the left groove and put 12 feet on the field of trucks. Then he ask where should he park her truck. The Sandblaster has a new home in Winchester. Randy has had a great pulling career in the 6400 and is looking to move up in the National 4x4 class. Placing second a couple times in the points and even the Rookie of the Year. Looking forward to see what comes out of Randy's trailer next year. 

The 12 Hot Farm was up next and as for this night was going to be like last night. That " LightsOut" tractor has it figured out. Not so worried about the speed and has been way under which ran a 15.7 mph to just hook and carry the sled in due fashion. Billy first place with Doug Layman on the Riley John Deere to be second, Jason third, Daniel fourth and Bill Balderson fifth out of 10 in the class.

As always the turnout on the 6200 National class is good when pulling in Winchester. 16 top notch trucks with the Fare Game chevy to place first. This truck which was the Three Bears truck came from this area was the first hook with a 318.11 distance. Two trucks later was Mr. Chevy of Dan Savage to place third. Then two trucks later was David Carlton on the Breathe Easy to place second. If you were there, did anyone see how that truck worked at the 150-200 foot mark. That is when that truck had a little skip which was getting hooked to the track and it was on with a 314.36 run. Some trucks do this and you need to pay attention to just where they place. Kevin Abshire on the Gone AWOL placing fourth and Wayne Tapscott on the Taz Terror fifth. 

A double repeat for the 8050 RWB diesels. Cory Omps first with the Real Deal with Jevon on the second spot. Ethan Wiles was third and Eric Stevens fourth and Stephen Spiggle fifth. 

Started back over with the 8050 RWB diesels. Local puller and HERO to most, Cory Omps laid down a great run with the Real Deal ford. Jevon with the dogge placing second. 

Second class was the 12 Hot Farm. 10 tractors making their way to Winchester for the two hook show. Lightsout on the top spot and Daniel Burner second, David Seal third, Jason Housden fourth and Bill Balderson rounding out the top five.

Next was the 6400 Pro Stockers. 8 total in the class. It was until the end of the show for the winner to be called out. Kevin Schools on the Seldom Seen has broken the ice. Kevin was the last hook and he knew that after watching the other 7 run he had a good chance to win. The second hook was Ole Goat and let me tell you this, it was HP track. Jerry came out and laid down a 322.85 and we decided to float the finish. Then came Sandblaster with a 320.90. Three trucks later was the Haymaker and pass both of those pullers with a 328.88  and was looking back at the leader marker while pulling. Running a 25.5 on the speed. Then came Big and Nasty, driving it like he stole it placing him with a 326.19. Then the fat lady was about to sing. Kevin tops out with a 331.02 to clam his first win of the season. 

7 trucks in the 6200 Open. Wesley Keys goes home with the win. Running a 315.28 on the distance. Bob Simmons on the second spot of a 310.83 pull. Third was Blake Hawkins and Mike Garrett fourth and Buckshot Bennett was fifth. 

Both the 6200 National and the 6400 Pro Stocks trucks will get 25 show points.
