Say hello to the new "6200 OUTLAW STREET CLASS"

We had a great turnout of pullers yesterday with a lot of good conversation. No arguing or fussing. I think it went well. It was in the neighborhood of 15 pullers there. If you were not there to voice your opinion, don't fuss about the outcome.

Here are some of the major changes from the Altered street.

- Aluminum heads will be allowed

-12.50 X 35 maximum tire size

-23 inch maximum hitch height

I think everything went well and the rule changes should make the Fords much happier. We will get the rest of the rules posted as soon as possible so people can go to work.

12000 Hot Farm Rules Suggestions

How About we get some discussion started for some rule changes/suggestions for the upcoming pulling season. This will be helpful when we have our meeting in november.

We'll start: 1. change turbo to stock out of the box 3 LM-466, with a $500 buy out. 2. elimininate speed limit. 3. Leave all other rules alone.

Altered and Open Discussion

Lets get some Altered/Open talks going on the forum to have some issues be discussed at the meeting (whenever that is).

Are we going to have unlimited cubes and a carb limit to allow the mountain boyz to come and play? Cube limit and carb rule. Just let em fly?
What will be the factors in Fuel Injection rules?
Aluminum heads?
Allow N2O? (Which I am in favor for. It will allow an 800hp truck be at a 1000hp trucks level without spending $20,000+ to do so. It will be a great equalizer for the lower powered guys and be a great show for the fans. I think we should get outside the box and try this.)
These are just a couple of things that pop into my head first.

Lets start talking about some of these points now so when the meeting comes we can get down to business and tearing these tearing trucks apart for the winter. Anyone can feel free to give me a shout if they would like.

Dragon Motorsports Banquet Info

Dragon Motorsports will be having the annual Awards Banquet on November 2nd at the Augusta Expo. Social hour will start at 5 pm with a short meeting with the meal at 6:30 pm. Meal will be catered by Leon Nixon Catering. $30 per person. Please RSVP and send money to DMP PO Box 193 Millers Tavern, Va. 23115. Pullers are asked to bring a door prize.

We have rooms blocked off at the Comfort Inn at Waynesboro. Ask for the Dragon Motorsports discount at 540-932-3060 OR Days Inn at 540-943-1101.

We also will have a taxi service from the motel and back. This is offered free of charge by the MADP.

Update on Baby Camryn-- She has been in the hospital for the last three weeks (approx.) This is the last update from the mother to us

Some hard decisions were made today, but they were all made in the best interest of Camryn. Asking for specific prayers for comfort and peace as our hearts break and watch this journey come to a end. This is very heartbreaking I'm crying as I write this. Please pray for this family. Hug and hold your loved ones as much as possible as we may never know what the next road will bring each and everyone of us. I will update as I hear more info.

Update on Baby Ellie

Baby Ellie went back to St. Judes for more treatment because of more regrowths was found in her brain. We then arrived at St. Judes they all got settled in and was ready for treatment and Ellie was not acting right so doctors wanted to do another MRI and when they did they seen the cancer had spread through out her entire brain. (not sure if this is quote on quote) So I assume the doctors said it was nothing else that could be done and the parents made a decision to bring baby Ellie home. Not sure if they will resume treatment or what the plans are. Please also keep this family in your hearts and prayers, as with having anyone its very hard to loose a loved one. I will post more as I know.

Greg and I want to personally thank all the DMP members for all the love and support you all show us and the families at the benefit pulls.

We would have not been able to help these families if it wasn't for you all.

A Big Thanks to HotRod & "Push Rod" for helping us put on a Good Show in Monterey. The pull went smooth and we had a very good turn out of pullers. Thanks to all who made the trek across the mountains to pull with us. Congratulations to Kirk on his win in the 6200 Outlaw class..Man that thing was hitt'in!.... Also want to Thank & Congratulate 6point7Cummins on his win in the 8050 Mod. Diesel Class with his Compression Ignition Dodge...Man that thing is awesome! & Ol' Big & Nasty laying the smack down in the 6500 Class with an impressive run to grab the top spot!

Footloose takes home the win in the Sunday session in the 6200 National class. Breathe Easy with two good runs in both sessions. Places another second. Peyton having a first and fourth on Sat., and a third on Sunday.

Morgans Corner Pull Oct 19th

2014 DMP 10,000 Super Pro Farm Rules

The changes to the 10 SPF rules.

The only major changes to the rules is that a vote was taken and passed to allow "P" pumps in the class.

Limited to a Series 3000 with a 13 MM plunger.

Members to have a voting right will need to attend at least 25% of the pulls.

How great it was being back at my old home at Dragon Motorsports! Always a great time and I have missed being there. I was lucky enough to attend 2 events this year at Dragon Motorsports Park as well as the Winchester, VA event. I have all my photos posted for viewing/purchasing. Can't wait till 2014 to be back down. Just so everyone knows, I usually film there and unfortunately had to turn away a few because I was shooting photos for Full Pull Magazine! I think Steve and I unwittingly created a monster. After Dean won the other night he kept mentioning that he had driven both of our trucks one time each and had won both times. He's 2 for 2 and wondering why I'm at least having so much trouble staying out front. His head got so big he stretched my helmet at least two sizes.
